1Challenge

Create a customized solution to replace a “me-too” product in the market. WVCO was
tasked with developing a material that not only satisfied customer needs, but was also
long-lasting and easy to install.

2Objective

Create a solution that was electrically isolating, reduced noise and vibration, was simple
to install in existing infrastructure, and was cost effective.

3Approach

We set out to invent the perfect
solution for the customer’s needs.

To accomplish our goal, we started with various hypotheses to maximize
desired absorption and select chemistry for electrical isolation, testing
for the best physical properties using various instruments and
proprietary testing, including:

Superiority Testing

Sound and Vibration

  • – Rebound

  • – Various third parties

Electrical Resistivity

Vertical Rebound Test / Absorbs sound and vibration
